Post-Fire Mitigation for Infrastructure and Water Quality

Terraphase’s skilled, multidisciplinary team—comprised of civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineers; geologists; hydrogeologists; Geographic Information System (GIS) specialists; industrial hygienists; and risk assessors—delivers rapid post-fire assessments, risk prioritization, and mitigation planning services.

We leverage satellite and aerial imagery, GIS mapping, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and GPS tools to efficiently assess extensive burn areas, remote locations, and potential hazards. Field crews validate data on the ground, following strict safety protocols. Our services include erosion control through best management practices (BMPs), infrastructure damage assessments, and flood and debris flow modeling using tools like the Modified Universal Soil Loss Equation (MUSLE), FLO-2D, and the Erosion Risk Management Tool (ERMiT), all under the guidance of senior technical staff.
