Northern California Emergency Generator Permitting

Terraphase provided permitting and regulatory compliance support for multiple projects involving diesel emergency generators and hazardous material storage systems. These efforts focused on ensuring compliance with Bay Area Air District (BAAD) requirements and other local environmental regulations.

Scope of Services

Terraphase services included preparation and submittal of Authority-to-Construct (ATC) and Permit-to-Operate (PTO) applications for over 20 emergency generators and fire pumps, development of Hazardous Materials Business Plans (HMBPs), and aboveground storage tank (AST) permitting. Additional tasks included Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan preparation, emission calculations, health risk assessments, California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) updates, and development of emergency response plans and training materials. Work involved close coordination with regulatory agencies to ensure approval and compliance.
