Alan Gibbs, P.G., C.HG., joins Terraphase as Principal Hydrogeologist and Vice President
Alan Gibbs, P.G., C.HG., has joined Terraphase as Principal Hydrogeologist and Vice President. Alan has over 30 years of environmental consulting experience and is a licensed geologist in California, Arizona, and Oregon. Alan has worked on numerous contaminated sites throughout California and the United States. He is a highly respected consultant to school districts and colleges throughout California and has provided consulting services to over 100 school districts regarding school siting, preliminary endangerment assessments, interactions with the California Department of Education, pipeline risk assessments, and CEQA issues. Additionally, Alan has extensive experience working on environmental investigations and remediation at numerous sites for the US Army Corps of Engineers, Department Toxic Substance Control, various municipalities, and private sector clients. Alan has provided expert witness services to multiple clients. He also has a broad background in mining and in the environmental assessment, characterization and remediation of former mine sites.
