terraphase engineering and science scholarship fund

The Terraphase Engineering and Science Scholarship Fund was established in 2020 to provide scholarships to students who are interested in pursuing a four-year college degree in science and engineering fields related to the environment. The Terraphase Engineering and Science Scholarship Foundation is 501c3. As a way of contributing to our communities in which we live and work, our long-term goal is to provide scholarships in multiple school districts which are located near our various Terraphase offices across the US.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident
  • Must be a graduating high school senior with plans to pursue a 4-year degree related to
    the environment.

    • The award is contingent on providing proof of acceptance to the school with the
      4-year degree program
  • Applicants must not be an immediate family member of the Terraphase Engineering and
  • Science Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors or award selection committee

Award Amount

The award amount is $10,000 per year for up to four years and may be used for university/college billed expenses such as tuition. In order to receive the award each year for up to four years, you will be required to show proof of continued full-time enrollment in a university/college and a transcript showing: a declared major and/or course work applicable to a degree related to the environment and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).

PLEASE NOTE: A completed application includes:

  • The completed application form
  • High School Transcript with GPA
  • Completed Personal Essay
  • Two Letters of Recommendation from non-family members. Letters of recommendation can be submitted separately but must be received by the indicated due date.

Completed applications including the two letters of recommendation must be postmarked no later than April 15, 2024 or emailed no later than April 15, 2024, 4:00 pm (Pacific Standard Time). Applications received after the indicated date/time will NOT be considered.
