The webinar focused on construction site storm water, from program management to permit compliance. Hans Kramer currently manages storm water compliance on approximately 80 active construction sites in California, over 60 of which are permitted under the Construction General Permit (CGP), and has overseen compliance on over 200 such sites since the current CGP became effective in 2010. Working with such a large program provides an opportunity to develop innovative approaches, develop programmatic standards, and explore permit language and intent in depth. Indeed, more than an opportunity, it becomes a necessity. Hans discussed lessons learned and offered insights that will be helpful to site owners and consultants managing large volumes of CGP work.
